As the night begins to fall
In a hush
And the earth lays down to sleep
I can feel your soul
Restlessly awake
As if, looking for a dream to keep
But not for long….
Just until the sky lights up
With a million points of love
And then, you slip in
Quietly
Right into my waiting heart
Your soul curls up just so
Spooning snugly next to mine
Sharing beats….warmly replete....
At home….
